Generally, public (nonprofits) need to identify what they want to see accomplished (their mission in measurable terms), who must be involved to achieve the mission goals, and then sort out the work that needs to be done (develop an action plan). Next they implement their action plan and measure results over time, correcting course when things don&#039;t go as expected.</description>
