This is key. News flash to bosses/people who run things: most employees expect little of value from 95% of most meetings, for precisely the reason that so many people follow the opposite of this advice. Moving efficiently through two or three items and declaring the meeting over, rather than padding it out, will strike a lot of people as decisive, considerate of their time, and overall a mark of a confident leader. As you say, Brad, it will make them look forward to the next meeting (or at least not dread it as much).</description>
